The metaverse is a new reality. And the Web3Souls Hackathon has become a significant part of this reality.
The agenda
The two main concepts of this event are SBT and Decentralized Society concept (DeSoc).
πͺ Soulbound Tokens (SBT) are non-transferable tokens representing a person's identity using blockchain technology. They allow individuals to verify all of their information: education, working experience, credit score, medical history, professional certifications, etc.
π Vitalik Buterin, along with his supporters, published a white paper entitled Β«Decentralized Society: Finding Web3's SoulΒ» early this May. Thus, Buterin invites each person to create a crypto wallet, which marks this person and his Β«SoulΒ». As a result, a person's reputation can be measured by SBT tokens and their transaction history.
The contest
During the week, participants will create their own team projects in 6 main areas:
πΈ Soulbound Tokens;
πΈ DeFi in DeSoc;
πΈ Digital Identification;
πΈ Smart justice;
πΈ Reputation, ratings, calculations mechanisms and algorithms;
πΈ Web3 social networks, integrated with DAO.
The prize fund of the contest is 10,000 USDT! π
Participants of the event will present their projects and also attend lectures and master classes on working at DeSoc.
